Consultant Specialist in Fetal Medicine
Mr Penman is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Specialist in Fetal Medicine who now works full time in Private Practice holding both gynaecology and pregnancy scanning (Fetal Medicine) clinics at the Spire Alexandra Hospital and the Kings Hill Medical Centre.
Mr Penman specialises in prenatal screening and diagnosis of fetal abnormalities and invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures including amniocentesis and CVS.
While the primary purpose of any scan is to assess the wellbeing of your baby Mr Penman makes every effort to obtain good pictures for you to take away.
Both 2D, 3D and 4D (real time moving 3D images) scanning is performed at all scans after 10 weeks. There is no additional charge for 3D and 4D scanning. At the end of any scan, you will be provided with a formal report of the scan findings which will be fully explained to you. Still pictures are provide for all scans and beyond 11 weeks a DVD with the moving images as seen during the scan and a CD containing a selection of still pictures (JPEG) are also provided at no additional cost.
